There are people who allege there is a conspiracy to control or distort silver prices. The CFTC has written two documents analyzing and dismissing these allegations, ni 2004 and 2008. They are attached here. Also attached here is a presentation CPM made related to such silver conspiracies in June 2008. The presentation lists talking points without fully discussing them. The presentation was to an industry group, and was met with strong approval. Several people expressed the view that it should have been videotaped and posted on the internet. As a result of these suggestions, CPM Group made a video related to these topics, which was posted at the Kitco website in September 2008. Kitco has since updated their website, but the video is now available on CPM Group’s youtube channel.
