CPM Group is a unique institution, a fully independent research and consulting company focusing on precious metals and commodities markets dedicated to accurate research, analysis, and financial consulting related to commodities.

Since our inception in 1986 most of our work has been directed toward institutional investors, wealthy investors, corporations, governments, intergovernmental organizations, and other entities with large financial exposure to commodities.

Most of our work focuses on precious and specialty metals, although we work across commodities, including high-level ‘normative’ work on the proper role of precious metals and commodities in investment portfolios, optimism national legal and regulatory regimes to attract foreign direct investment into national extractive industries and resources, and other topics related to precious metals and commodities.

CPM makes its research and analysis available to retail investors, most often through companies that provide research to investors but also directly.

There are many other services that CPM has which may be useful for retail investors.

The most obvious are CPM’s annual Yearbooks on gold, silver, and PGMs. They are included in the Retail Investor Program, but available separately.

CPM has a massive library of more than four decades of research reports, speeches, and more. Some of these are available at no cost at www.cpmgroup.com. Others will be added into our free library, while others will be made available at nominal prices.

We further envision taking some of our special topics out of past larger reports, updating them, and making them available as special small reports. One may be The Role of Precious Metals In Diversified Portfolios, something we have written about for decades. Another might be A Short Silver Market History, 1950 – present. We have produced such reports in the past;
